Eyes wide open . A self portrait of how I see myself. The mirror showed me my eyes . Branded with the water meter sign as frames. I cried a river, and then I saw my soul through my own eyes. Layers were floating away as I watched , exposing more feelings I never knew. The first level that became visible was suffering. That is why I was crying a river, but the tears stopped and I was able to see "more" with my eyes wide open. A past haunting memory appeared . It was the first time ever I saw my soul uncovered. Then I saw a most glorious sight. My heart came to view and it was beating so fast and alive. In a top corner of my right side was a piece of gold. Light from my soul reflect on the shiny surface making it transparent. There inside the piece of gold was a picture of two hearts connected, each beating to the same music. What a gift I had been given. My gift of self freedom.
